Challenge #3: Writing my bucket list.

15.01.2013- Started the list as part of challenge 3.

I will probably end up adding to this because I have realised there are a lot of things I want to do before I do. A lot of these things will be hard to do but at least if I have them in a list, I can try to do them. I have no excuse not to try to do them.

  1. Go abroad finally
  2. Create a YouTube video
  3. Graduate university with at least a 2:1
  4. Visit the Wall of China
  5. See the Grand Canyon
  6. See Stonehenge
  7. Go to New York
  8. Visit New Zealand
  9. Visit the seven wonders of the world
  10. Go on safari
  11. Ride an elephant
  12. Ride a camel
  13. Learn to surf
  14. Learn to drive
  15. Throw a coin in the Trevi fountain
  16. Try five new types of tea
  17. Learn to bake rainbow cake
  18. Meet Simon and Lewis and have tea and Jaffa Cakes with them
  19. Pet a tiger
  20. Learn to knit and use those new found skills to knit a scarf
  21. Meet Johnny Depp (Unlikely to happen, but a girl can dream)
  22. Buy an iPad
  23. Run/shuffle a half marathon
  24. If I don’t die running the half marathon, run a full marathon
  25. Take figure skating lessons
  26. Learn to play the violin
  27. Go windsurfing
  28. Take horse riding lessons
  29. Learn to ski or snowboard and go on a skiing holiday
  30. Sit and read a fantastic book on a warm, sandy beach
  31. Learn basic Spanish
  32. Learn enough Italian to get by in Italy
  33. Go to a bar and take part in karaoke
  34. Take ballet lessons
  35. Learn to waltz
  36. Go skydiving
  37. Climb a mountain
  38. Take up scuba diving
  39. Swim with dolphins
  40. Ride in a hot air balloon
  41. Have a flight in a helicopter
  42. Go hiking in a rainforest
  43. Spend a weekend living it up in a castle
  44. See as many famous monuments as possible in each new place I visit (too many to write down individually)
  45. Go to Disney land/world (do not care where)
  46. Visit all 50 States
  47. Take some sort of cookery class
  48. Try to meet at least 50 celebrities and ask them meaningful questions instead of turning into a screaming fan
  49. Learn not to take things so personally and let things go
  50. Read all 1,000 novels on the guardian list
  51. Get a complete makeover
  52. Donate my whole wardrobe to charity and start again
  53. Become a qualified solicitor or barrister
  54. Have a flight in a private jet
  55. Spend a week at a 5-star hotel or spa (big dreams here.. So not happening)
  56. Fly first class
  57. Write a letter to every friend who means something to me
  58. Plant a tree
  59. Donate blood
  60. Organise something for charity
  61. Become a judge
  62. Later in time, become a politician
  63. When I am old and grey… Start a bakery
  64. Audition for a role in a stage production
  65. Audition for a role in a film
  66. Spend a month just going wherever life takes me. No plans.
  67. Sleep in a haunted house
  68. Go to a film premier
  69. Attend/organise a murder mystery event
  70. Go to a masquerade ball
  71. Learn a new word every day for a year
  72. Write a blog post every day for a year

    1. Awesome! Thank you for the link. The list was going to be a heck of a lot longer but I decided to cut it off for now. I don’t doubt a whole bunch more random things will end up on it at some point.
